It’s been over 9 years since the tragic events of September 11th, 2001. As the tenth anniversary approaches, I have to look back and see where we were and where we’ve come. The attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were horrific and a major blow against America and its people. The Taliban/Al-Qaeda butt buddy connection left our country with a permanent black eye. The victory that the practitioners of terror had on that day was a huge one, maybe their biggest. Although the victory that they have had long-term, may be even bigger.
We used to have a pretty laid back approach to airport security before that day and since then everything has changed. People are in fear in greater numbers than this country has probably ever experienced. Between the media hysteria, politicians pushing for “safety” and the mere thought of further threats, people have given their liberties and rights away for what is deemed necessary. I mean, no one wants to be blown to bits, let alone to have that fate bestowed upon their children. It is a necessary evil in the eyes of many Americans and the fact that it is also being sold that way, doesn’t help. Too many people believe that the government has their best interests at heart. Not to go all conspiratorial on you or anything, but have you ever really stopped to think about why things have gotten so out of control? Or are you one of the majority who seemingly hasn’t noticed until now, with all this TSA tyranny being so blatantly out in the open?
You see, the destruction of the Twin Towers, WTC Building 7, the Pentagon and whatever target the 4th plane was supposed to hit, were just the first steps in a much larger and successful plan by Al-Qaeda. George W. Bush and his minions quickly turned the tables, or so it would seem, on the terrorists. I’m sure the Taliban/Al-Qaeda leaders were well aware that retribution was coming. A cowboy president is going to get revenge on the evildoers no matter what the cost. Bush’s War on Terror was justified, at least where I sit, and once initiated, many Americans were waiting, huddled around their television sets, for soldiers to emerge from a cave with the head of Osama Bin Laden. That day never came and really, we’re supposedly still looking for the guy. At least they switched gears and gave us Saddam Hussein squatting in a pit with Buffalo Bill’s dog and a bottle of lotion. I’m not sure what Saddam had to do with it, I’m still confused, but hey!.. he was an evildoer, so scratch a point under “America” on the scoreboard.
Since Saddam’s execution, Americans are seemingly satisfied and want us to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Hell, the vast majority of the American public pretty much tuned out at that point, which has given our leaders the ability to kind of just hang out in those countries and do whatever it is they are actually doing. I mean, finding a few fucking dudes in a cave can’t be that hard. Just throw some grenades in a couple here and there and eventually a few terrorist heads and limbs will come flying out. If that doesn’t work, send in the robots armed to the teeth. There’s no reason why American blood needs to be lost. Shit, we’ve lost too much already and we’re just standing around empty handed. Well, except for those opium poppies we’re clutching onto.
Anyway, we’re wasting our time and money over there while being under false pretenses because obviously, shit ain’t getting done: let’s call a spade a spade. So while we die and spend money, the terrorists are running around laughing at us because they are still at large. We may have opium and minerals but they have their freedom and know that they’ll keep it until some rabid psycho dumbfuck has another draft for suicide bombers and kamikaze pilots. Now this isn’t me trying to create hysteria, I’ll let the mainstream media handle that task, as they have mastered it. I’m just stating facts.
Now, back home, the government has gotten completely out of control. The police state is real but only until recently has the public really gotten wind of it. Now that the TSA and Homeland Security are stripping our constitutional rights away on such a massive scale, the people have woken up. Thank fuck for that! It only took you guys nine years to figure out where we are headed (except now we are there).
You see, after 9/11, pretty much everyone was in agreement that security had to be beefed up. If this meant giving up some rights here or there, so be it. People needed to feel safe and big government was ready to coddle them with shackles. Liberties slowly slipped away and nobody noticed. Well, some of us did but we were called “conspiracy theorists” like it was an insult. We were also labeled “pinheads”, “idiots”, “morons”, “buffoons” and plenty of other playground taunts from the 1950′s. Only now, do the name callers, the real “pinheads”, “idiots”, “morons” and “buffoons”, realize that we were right all along. It’s like the boiling frog theory: if you toss a frog in boiling water, it’ll jump out. However, if you put a frog in cool water and slowly raise the heat, he’ll stay put, not realizing the danger, and eventually boil to death. Americans have always been the damn frog, except now they seem to be smart enough to jump, albeit with 3rd degree burns.
With airport security and national security being what it is now, it’s pretty hard to say that the terrorists can’t call our paranoia and our reaction to it a victory. They’ve got us scared shitless. Not only has the government responded with the TSA tyranny but they’re also building FEMA camps. I don’t care what you think about them and what side of the story you believe, they are very fucking real. Do some more research yourself and don’t rely on Glenn Beck’s half-assed debunking. The fact that we have this going on in America is a huge blow to freedom and a major victory for the terrorists. Be prepared to surrender your 2nd Amendment rights whenever you are forced to enter a FEMA camp. They stripped the citizens of their guns during the Katrina catastrophe in New Orleans back in 2005. After that, the people of New Orleans spent a lot of time in some makeshift camps where the military and FEMA agents ruled with a gun. Fear is a catalyst for submission.
People continually deny what is right in front of them. Now a lot of liberal politicians and lefty celebrities are talking up the TSA, laughing at the fact that people don’t want to go through radiation spewing body scanners and perverted pat downs courtesy of poorly trained rent-a-cops. In fact, it was Whoopi Goldberg that applauded the actions of the TSA and said that their actions were “necessary”. Joe Biden and wifey were on ‘Larry King Live’ telling people to “put up with it”. Fuck you Bidens. Now that your party is running the country, you’re suddenly for this intrusion and invasion of our rights. Didn’t the liberals go apeshit over Dubya’s Patriot Act because it was intrusive, an invasion and an abuse of power? Funny how the script is flipped when they’re the ones running the show. I could go on and on about liberal hypocrisy but I already have countless times and I’d like to stay on topic.
So, in a nutshell, we’re all fucking mad. We have allowed these terror driving shitcocks to drastically and dramatically change our way of life. Big picture-wise, it isn’t about a couple of iconic buildings falling and the death of a few thousand Americans on American soil, it is about the fact that these assholes have changed us forever. That is where their power lies. That is their real victory. They did their heinous and fucked up attack nine fucking years ago and today, even though another attack on U.S. soil hasn’t happened since then, we’re even more paranoid than we were right after the attack. We’ve handed them this victory. We’ve become a nation of fear turtles and these uneducated cave dwellers are laughing at us. Essentially, these filthy subhuman scumbags have taken the citizens of the greatest nation in the history of the world and turned them into submissive, police state accepting plebeians: willing to throw away their liberty for a little bit of safety.
In regards to the TSA, they have never caught a terrorist. NOT. A. SINGLE. ONE. Yet they are violating the constitutional rights of every single citizen that they scan or pat down. They are robbing us of our freedom because their unproven, yet to be (and never going to be) successful attempt at stopping a terrorist, is the best thing that our government can throw at us. This tyrannical organization is our leaders’ way of providing us “safety”. You people wanted it, you slept through the obvious signs and now you want to complain. Now, they’ve gone to far! Well how fucking far did you think that they were going to go? Did you think the government would start implementing these police state safety measures and just stop? Fuck no they aren’t going to stop. At least not until the people get really pissed off and do something about it. At least now you’re all getting it.
See, things are starting to click in our society now. People are becoming very much aware of the tyranny. As long as we band together and speak out about this and pound down the doors of Congress (because the President and his people aren’t listening), we can truly turn this thing around. It’s not too late to stop this police state before it becomes a beast. It’s already feeding on the blood of liberty, now it’s time to cut it and spill the blood of tyranny. This is still our country people. It certainly as fuck isn’t Al-Qaeda’s or the Taliban’s. It definitely ain’t Obama’s! Culturally, we’ve nearly thrown away our morals, our ideals and our big ass balls. We don’t need a damn titty-groping rent-a-cop to protect us. We’re a country of people that have always protected themselves. I’d like to think that we still are. If not, I’m wasting my time even writing for any of you.
At this point, the terrorists have not won. They are winning, but they haven’t defeated us yet. It’s our duty, to fight our own government’s tyranny, overcome our paranoia and to take care of the terrorist threat by demanding that our leaders get the fucking job done. Realistically though, is that even their agenda at this point? Was it ever? I guess that’s a question for a later article. For now, think about these things and ask yourself, what can you do to help bring sanity and reason back to this country?
