The Lincoln Myth, Part III: The Liar

If you haven’t gathered from my previous articles in this series (here and here), former president Abraham Lincoln was pretty much a docuhebag that has been deified by twisted history and liberally biased propaganda mills, better known as universities and public schools. I have mapped out Lincoln’s road through tyranny and his history of racism. Now I may be shattering the foundation of the earliest Lincoln myth that children are taught in the aforementioned propaganda mills. That is the myth that surrounds and resonates in Lincoln’s own nickname: “Honest Abe”. The myth that Abraham Lincoln was an honest man throughout his entire life is incredibly false. So, here I am, once again, ready to piss in the eye of another myth. Pull up a chair, pay attention and see why I have given Lincoln a more suitable nickname: “The Lyin’ King”.

To get right into it, Lincoln lied to the American people about secession repeatedly. In fact, his lies are what sparked the Civil War and caused mass bloodshed when Americans killed Americans all on the basis of those lies. In an effort to let homeboy incriminate himself, here’s a direct quote from “Honest Abe”:

“Plainly, the central idea of secession is the essence of anarchy. A majority, held in restraint by constitutional checks and limitations and always changing easily with deliberate changes of popular opinions and sentiments, is the only true sovereign of a free people. Whoever rejects it does of necessity fly to anarchy or despotism. Unanimity is impossible; the rule of a minority, as a permanent arrangement, is wholly inadmissible; so that, rejecting the majority principle, anarchy or despotism in some form is all that is left.” — First Inaugural Address, March 4, 1861.

Abelicious was lying from day one, on his first day as our American President! The people of the North ate the shit up and the people of the South prepared for the oncoming storm. How is “..secession the essence of anarchy”? Anarchy is no government. The South attempted sucession, which was their constitutional right and they even had their own government and president, his name was Jefferson Davis. Now before you assume that he was a racist, Confederate President Davis, while in prison for treason, sold his estate to Ben Montgomery, a slave who Davis helped educate and allowed to run his general store. More on Jefferson Davis at a later date.

Here “The Lyin’ King” is again, lying about secession even further:

“The distinct issue, ‘Immediate dissolution or blood’…embraces more than the fate of these United States. It presents to the whole family of man the question of whether a constitutional republic or democracy — a government of the people, by the same people — can or cannot maintain its territorial integrity against its own domestic foes. It presents the question whether the discontented individuals — too few in numbers to control the administration, according to organic law, in any case — can always, upon the pretenses made in this case or on any other pretenses, or arbitrarily without any pretense, break up the government and thus practically put an end to free government upon the earth. It forces us to ask: ‘Is there, in all republics, this inherent and fatal weakness? Must a government, of necessity, be too strong for the liberties of its own people, or too weak to maintain its own existence?’” — Message to Congress in Special Session, July 4, 1861.

He talks as if the seceding states are destroying liberty when in reality, preventing them from seceding was an attack against their liberty. If anyone was destroying liberty, it was Lincoln. In fact, it was the Union, through Lincoln, who robbed the Confederate States of liberty through taxing the shit out of their goods. Their secession was a response to the North’s tyranny and mistreatment of those in the South. Of course, Lincoln had to spin it to get the North to back the war. The blood of 600,000 Americans could’ve been prevented if “Honest Abe” would’ve just lived up to his bullshit name.

Lincoln’s lies would often paint the seceding South as a threat to national security. That their would always be hostility and sour feelings between the two nations. Funny that he didn’t feel this way about our Canadian neighbors to the North. Did he believe that the South was really a threat or did he lie to create hysteria and to get the citizens of the Union to support his war? Um.. yeah, he lied.

Adding to Abraham Lincoln’s web of deceit and lies is the fact that he promoted himself as a protector of the Constitution. In reality, nothing was further from the truth. He emptied his ass all over the Constitution every day that he was in office. His violent opposition to the South’s secession is the prime example of Lincoln spitting in the face of our nation’s sacred document. He ran this country as a tyrant (see the previous article in this series for accounts of that) and that tyranny was a slap in the face of the Founding Fathers. He suspended habeas corpus, killed prisoners-of-war and killed Native Americans whom he backed out of deals on.

Lincoln’s biggest lies are the ones about himself. He was his own propaganda machine and biggest fan. Most of the misinformation that is now widely accepted as true history was manufactured by Lincoln and his peeps. They wrote their own history for the books and after winning the Civil War and “freeing the slaves”, Lincoln took credit for it all. He was a hero, a freer of men and the man who reunited a country shattered by war (a war he started).

As far as slavery goes, it was already on its way out before the war. England and France had already abolished slavery without wars. Lincoln, the self-proclaimed abolitionist, only wore that hat when he was raising campaign funds from the abolitionist sect within the Republican Party. In fact, real abolitionists despised Lincoln. William Lloyd Garrison, the most prominent of all abolitionists, said that Lincoln “..had not a drop of anti-slavery blood in his veins.”

The lies are seemingly endless and I could go at this for days and days but by this point, you should get the gist of my argument. Lincoln is not the man that history wants you to believe he is. Well, at least mainstream history. The Civil War was bullshit and Lincoln was absolutely no hero. He was a liar, a tyrant, a racist, a warmonger and his own propagandist. He was the biggest threat that this country has ever seen at that time. Behind the lies and bullshit, the story of Lincoln should be a lesson to all. He was the first president to really steer America towards tyranny. He raped our freedom and stole our country from us. Lincoln paved the way for further tyranny and started the federal attack on state’s rights.

Thank your teachers for lying to you. Then again, they are probably as clueless as the rest of the masses.
