This post may be even more vulgar than my typical posts due to my inebriated state.
There’s a lot of talk about the VAT tax lately. Frankly, I’m tired of talking fucking taxes but I guess it’s that time of year and the Obamazi Party is looking for other ways to force us into their fascist-communist-socialist shitopia. Well, I’m on vacation, I’ve got plenty of super premium bourbon in me (i.e. I’m drunk) and I’m not going to pull any punches here, because YOU, the reader, need to know what’s up with this, as it’s floating around Capital Hill right now.
So what am I going to do? Well, I’m going to dissect the shit out of it.
Now maybe I’m being unfair here, I mean Obama hasn’t “officially” endorsed this idea, but as his track record shows, he loves eurosocialist ideals. Plus, the fucker loves taxes and his economic advisor said that the U.S. should consider the Value Added Tax a.k.a. the VAT Tax.
So what is a Value Added Tax? I’m glad I asked.
In a nutshell: it is a consumption tax that is levied on goods and services. That’s not so bad, eh? Well, it’s levied on goods and services at each and every level of production. Now you may be saying to yourself, “Well hey! That will redistribute the tax burden to corporations and help keep the tax monkeys off of my back.” That is what most people think and that is why most people are wrong and I am right because here’s the reality.
Every time value is added to an item, there is a tax. So for instance, let’s look at bread, an example that is simple to understand. When the grain is harvested and sent to the bread factory, it is taxed. When the yeast is sent from wherever to the factory, it is taxed. When the yeast and grain is made into bread, it is taxed. When the bread bag is produced (at every level just like the bread), it is taxed. The twisty tie thing, it is taxed (also at every level like the bread and the bread bag). When the bread is shipped to it’s distributor, it is taxed. When the distributor ships it to the wholesaler, it is taxed. When the wholesaler ships it to the store, it is taxed. When you buy it at the store, it is taxed.
But wait, the corporations involved in the production paid for all those times it was taxed, correct? Well, yes. So what’s the big deal?
Well well well, what do you think happens to the money that all these corporations lose from each and every taxed item? What would you do in that corporation’s position if you were the business owner? Quite simply, you would add the cost of the tax into the price of the item, to offset your financial loss. I mean why should you eat it when you can pass it down the line to the end consumer. So what happens then as this goes down the line? The answer to that question is that YOU pay for every single one of those taxed items in the final cost of the product you’re buying. So how much will bread cost now?
Keep in mind, that this isn’t just on bread; it is on everything manufactured and produced, as well as ALL services!
To see how horrible this idea is, one has to look no further than Europe. All the countries there, that have implemented this system, are in economic peril. Granted, we’re not in great shape by any means, but look at fucking Greece! That could be us.
The scariest thing is that they want to work this into the system, while the Federal Income Tax still exists! Under Obama the VAT Tax would be collected in ADDITION to the Federal Income Tax! Can you afford both? I sure as hell can’t afford either.
In closing, this is just another sign that the people in charge are fucking morons that don’t give a shit about anyone. Hell, with their actions lately, they don’t even give a fuck about their own jobs!
For those of you that pray, you had better pray that November is a conservative victory. Otherwise, we might as well join the crumbling EU.
