This book is the perfect companion to ‘The FairTax Book’ by Neal Boortz and John Linder. As a follow up, it addresses a lot of the criticism and objections brought forth by the public since the publishing of the first book. This book does a very good and thorough job of correcting a lot of the misconceptions the general public has, as well as shedding light on the sources of their disbelief in the FairTax system. I think every American should read the first book and then pick this up. Whether you think that the FairTax will work or not doesn’t really matter. Just read both books objectively and don’t let the nay-sayers, politicians and lobbyists make up your mind for you. There is a reason why they don’t want you to read this and a reason why they want you to continue to give huge portions of your salary away each pay period.
