Never in my life did I think I would ever read a book about tax. I found the thought quite taxing: pun intended. I am glad however, that a good friend of mine put this book and its follow up in my hand. It was incredibly easy to follow and for once, something tax related made sense and was simplified in a way that seems too good to be true. In reference to that old adage, in the case of the FairTax, this system could very well work. Unfortunately the general public will be way to skeptical of this “miracle cure” and the chances of this passing seem pretty bleak. All I can say about it is for you to read this book and form your own opinion. For any questions you have, read the follow up. Do your own research and don’t be swayed by other people’s negative interpretations of this idea. Most of those people in my experience haven’t read the book and refuse to. This could very well be what this country needs right now.
