The Monsters March on Iowa, Part II: Upping the Ante, Killing the Dream

*Written by Rob Rimes.

The level of insanity in America is at an all-time high right now, especially now that Ron Paul has the presidency within his grasp. Moving on from the points of the last piece I wrote on Iowa, I do have to expose the next phase of these monsters’ bullshit tactics to try to not just discredit Ron Paul but the Iowa caucuses as well. The incidents I am going to mention here have all happened over the last week or so, ever since Dr. Paul has moved up to lead in most of the polls regarding Iowa. Once again, the media is manufacturing dissent and trying to tear away at the seams of the Republican Party in an effort to stop one man from completely redefining what the party stands for in the modern era.

The first incident I want to touch on deals with the hacker activist group Anonymous and a “threat” that they made regarding the Iowa caucuses. Anonymous, in this cryptic video, explain that they will “occupy” the caucuses. Sounds more like Occupy Wall Street bullshit to me and frankly, when looking at the video, its source and its message, it is quite obvious that this Anonymous “threat” is a load of bullshit.

It isn’t hard to conclude that this video by “Anonymous”, that the mainstream media is blowing up, is quite assuredly a fake. It is just another establishment trick to find any reason they can to discredit a potential Ron Paul victory in Iowa. At this point, they are pulling no punches in trying to fight the oncoming storm of truth. This just proves how desperate the establishment is at maintaining power because really, if some asshole blogger and a few people on the Internet can debunk the crap out of this thing, how can the corporate media monsters with billions at their disposal not see through this obvious charade?

Five simple facts that immediately discredit this video’s validity (compiled from several message board posts all over the Internet):

1) Anonymous did not sanction this because authentic releases are discussed on IRC (Internet Relay Chat) prior to.

2) Anonymous does not disrupt elections. They have said this themselves. Now this video’s annotations also say it but that was later added by the poster of the video after people pointed this out all over the web.

3) Near the end of the video they refer to Operation Empire State Rebellion (which has nothing to do with the Iowa caucuses – Anonymous’ messages are more focused and not all over the place).

4) This video is being reported on by the Associated Press but wasn’t mentioned until just hours after Ron Paul officially became a front runner. Look at the video upload date (November 3rd) and then ask yourself why the mainstream media is just reporting on it the week before Christmas, just after Paul took the lead?

5) This DVD was supposedly left at an Occupy protest in Iowa. Why Iowa and why was it left or dropped? It was found outside of the tent of the person who operates the YouTube account that uploaded the video. Anonymous does not just carelessly leave DVDs around when they have a message they must get out; they upload their own videos to the Internet.. period.

As activist, author and freedom fighter Mark Dice said on his Facebook account:

When a video said to be from “Anonymous,” a computer savvy hacking collective, has eight seconds of dead air before the sound starts, and the video looks like it was made by someone with Windows 95, then you can pretty much still count on the mainstream media to jump on the story and report it as an eminent threat, or in this case, if Ron Paul wins the Iowa caucus, which he may, then the Establishment can undermine or taint his victory. Or, because of the “hacking threat” now the Illuminati can send in their people to actually hack the machines to ensure that Ron Paul does not win, because as the Iowa caucus goes, so does the country, and Ron Paul is gaining too much favor with the people and the polls.

Also, the ‘About Us’ section of the YouTube account that posted this says:

A few of them ol’ Iowa boys have teamed up to make a new era in entertainment. We’re just making it up as we go along!

But yep, the mainstream media is taking this “threat” seriously.

Fox News and other sources have now been reporting that the Occupy Movement is going to occupy the caucuses to try and get their voice to be heard. While they say that they will not disrupt the electoral process, they will be there to scream, yell and holler that life is unfair. Now whether five-thousand protestors show up or just 17 do, this situation, like the fake Anonymous one, gives the establishment another tool to use in an effort to discredit the Iowa caucuses if Ron Paul wins. If Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney wins, it’ll be painted as a great victory for them where they overcame their competition and broke through the barriers put up by Anonymous and the Occupy Movement. If Ron Paul wins, well then someone must’ve tampered with something and the whole caucus is a sham.

Iowa’s own governor has even come out to say that if Ron Paul wins, ignore it and look at who got second and third. Really?! Governor Terry Branstad is sucking the establishment cock at the expense of his own state and hell, at the expense of his own integrity. When the governor of the state that has been said to be the most pivotal stop on the campaign trail is out to discredit his own people, we are living in some fucking insane times!

Now even if all these bullshit high-level smear attempts fail, the media and the other candidates will still say that Ron Paul’s crazy supporters crashed the caucuses and made him win. Man, I am so sick of this completely stupid fucking argument. If a man can inspire so many people to passionately support him, then that man is doing something right! That man is a true leader! If Ron Paul’s people outnumber those of all the other candidates, it isn’t a trick, it is because those people believe that he is the best person to run this country. Sure, Paul supporters bombard Internet polls and you can argue that they distort results but why don’t the other candidates garner that much passionate support? You can’t use this tired argument when it comes to the actual voting process but the idiots with the loud mouths and little minds will. Hell, if Ron Paul goes on to win the presidency and beat Obama, Bill O’Reilly and everyone like him will be calling for a recount because there is no way in hell that Paul could’ve won without his supporters’ dirty tricks. Thank you Mr. O’Reilly for making us Paul supporters come across as evil geniuses who are apparently so smart that we can actually tamper with the voting machines. I guess when you are as fucking dumb as O’Reilly though, everyone looks like a mastermind.

In the end, even beyond Iowa, we are in for a hell of a battle against these disturbed and twisted monsters who will stop at nothing to eliminate the seed of truth from being replanted on the steps of the White House. With Ron Paul will come the transparency that we have always needed and that previous candidates have promised but not given us. Ron Paul will rip the band-aids off of the GOP and expose their stinky sores. The Republican Party will be brought back to a place that it hasn’t been in a long-time. Hell, it’ll be two notches better than the Reagan era GOP and one notch better than what we could have had, had their been a Goldwater era.

The monsters, beasts and bastards are just getting started however. If you think the cheap tricks and dirty tactics have been horrible thus far, just wait. This is going to be a long arduous battle.

Mitt Romney continued to drive a debt-oriented message here on Wednesday morning, extending his “prairie fire” of debt metaphor with the assistance of a prop. Crime is down in Louisiana, but the state still holds the ignominious title of “the world’s prison capital.” An exposé by the New Orleans Times-Picayune found that Louisiana incarcerates more people per capita than any other state or country in the world. One out of every 86 adults is behind bars, which is nearly double the U.S.

The following column was originally published in February 2008. “Death tugs at my ear and says, ‘Live, I am coming.’” Were Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. alive today, he might ascribe that line not to death but to nuclear terrorism. Ever since Sept. 11, 2001, Americans
