Voters in North Carolina on Tuesday approved Amendment One, a fiercely debated and highly restrictive amendment to the state constitution that defines marriage as the legal union of a man and a woman.

The amendment not only outlaws same-sex marriage — already illegal in the state — but bans civil unions and domestic partnerships for gay or straight couples. Family law experts say it will threaten domestic partnership health benefits for local government workers and strip unmarried couples, both gay and straight, of their rights to make financial or emergency medical decisions for an incapacitated partner.

With all counties reporting, the amendment was approved, 61% to 39%.

Passage of the measure, called the Defense of Marriage Act by Republican sponsors, makes North Carolina the final state in the South to pass an amendment banning gay marriage, and the 29th state overall, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. Ten states have statutes defining marriage as between a man and a woman. Proponents said the amendment was needed to keep “activist judges or politicians” from overturning the state’s 1996 law.

The measure is more restrictive than all but three of the marriage amendments passed in other states, according to a study published by 11 family law professors at seven North Carolina universities. The measure could even deprive unmarried women of protections against domestic abuse, while restricting child custody and visitation rights for unmarried gay or straight couples, they said.

Only Idaho, Michigan and South Carolina have so strictly defined marriage, and courts in those three states are still struggling to interpret amendments passed in recent years. The North Carolina amendment is likely to face similar court battles.

Facebook activists discussed dressing up in Klan outfits as part of dirty tricks campaign to characterize Paul supporters as racist.

A group of Ron Paul-hating Facebook activists were caught planning a smear attack on the presidential candidate, after they openly discussed dressing up as Ku Klux Klan members and appearing at Ron Paul campaign events in South Carolina in an attempt to frame Paul’s supporters as racists.

Members of the ‘Stop Ron Paul 2012′ Facebook group posted a thread announcing a plan to stage a false flag against the Paul campaign by dressing up in racist garb and pretending they were Paul voters.

“If you live in South Carolina and want to have some real fun with these Paulbots here is what we do- go online and buy or make your very own KKK robe, complete with hood (hood is important),” stated the post. “Then get some Ron Paul signs off the internet or make your own. Follow Paul around South Carolina and be sure to get photographed by the media. Again, hoods are important. All can be Klansmen for Paul. Black, white, Jewish, Asian- those Paulbots will shit a brick!”

Although the thread was hastily deleted, a screenshots can be viewed below.

Other members of the group liked the idea, with one commenting, “That is seriously a great idea! Anyone wanna volunteer???,” as another asked where they could acquire KKK robes.

When one member objected to the idea, another responded, “Why not show the world the truth about the type on ilk that supporters Ron Paul?” – a bizarre exercise in circular logic given the fact that the Paul haters planning to stage the hoax wouldn’t need to dress up as racists if there were genuine Klan members who attended Paul’s campaign stops.

Indeed, polls show Ron Paul is the most popular Republican amongst non-whites, debunking the myth that his campaign panders to racists.

The man who started the thread urging fellow Paul-haters to post as Klan members, Jere Brower, has a history of defamation-ridden anti-Paul posts, claiming the Congressman wants to “legalize child prostitution” and is “against children going to school”. He has characterized Ron Paul supporters as “clinically insane,” while also trolling singer Kelly Clarkson’s Facebook page after she Tweeted her support for Paul last month.

According to Brower’s LinkedIn page, he works for Google as a “Field Operations Specialist,” specializing in “Crisis management, social media, media relations, brand specialist, event planning, event management”. A former US Army Specialist (SPC), Brower is also a Herman Cain supporter.

Browser now appears to have deleted his Facebook profile.

Another advocate of the smear, Chris Collins, lists his former employer as HermanCain.com. Collins, who called the KKK plan a “seriously great idea,” also lists his activities as “Jackson County GOP”, “Tea Party Movement”, “Freemasonry”, and “Jefferson Georgia Tea Party Patriots”.

This is the second time within the space of a week that Ron Paul has been targeted for underhanded dirty tricks.

Last week we reported on how the media seized upon an anonymous You Tube video, purported to have been made by a Paul supporter, which offensively questioned Jon Huntsman’s patriotism because he has adopted Chinese and Indian daughters.

The clip, which was cited to imply that Paul supporters were racist, was later analyzed by an independent company who discovered that the video “likely….came from a source within or closely tied to the Huntsman Campaign.”

Rand Paul was also the target of a similar smear during his run for Kentucky Senator, when Obama campaign volunteer and long term Democratic operative Tyler Collins, a supporter of Paul’s opponent Jack Conway, tried to portray Paul’s supporters as racists by dressing up in a tin-foil hat and adopting a slack-jawed accent while carrying racist signs opposing illegal immigration. The Louisville Courier Journal even used footage of the man, portraying him as a legitimate Rand Paul supporter, in a video report about the event.

It remains to be seen whether Ron Paul haters will go to such extreme lengths to deceptively smear the Congressman, but given the establishment media’s zeal to characterize Paul as a racist, don’t be surprised to see Brower and his cohorts on CNN or Fox News at some point this week.

It wasn’t that long ago that the Democratic Party called Republicans racists for not agreeing with President Barack Obama’s policies. I guess it makes sense. If you don’t like the policies of a president that just happens to be black, it has to be because you are a filthy fucking racist. Now these attacks didn’t end at Republicans, the Democrats deemed everyone a bigoted racist that didn’t worship his Holiness. You’d think that this would make all blacks that hated Bush racists too but we all know that blacks can’t be racist because they aren’t white. So really, it isn’t the same thing. No, only bigoted white assholes can be racist pieces of shit and thank Jesus for Obama, whom without, exposing these racists would’ve been much more difficult. However, just as the conservative, libertarian and independent racists were exposed for all to see, it is now the liberals who are being exposed for having racists in their midst!

Now that the evil racist Republicans have taken back the House of Representatives from the Democrats, President Obama has decided to try and compromise with them. Well, this has angered the extreme liberals. I don’t understand why? I mean, he is their religious icon and the second coming of Jimmie J.J. “Dyn-o-mite!”Walker. One can only point to the truth here and the truth is that they must also be racist. All the signs are there.

That racist Nancy Pelosi came out and complained that Obama was becoming weak and that compromising with the Republicans was a bad thing. Pelosi’s new mission is to block deals between Obama and the GOP. Who cares what her reasons are, they don’t matter. All that matters is that she is a racist. So no matter what her “reasoning” is, the real root of her issue with Obama is that she hates black people! It’s pretty clear to see, especially when playing within the rules established by her party. If you oppose Obama, you are a racist. PERIOD!

Pelosi and the Democrats are now reduced to infighting because they feel that the White House failed them. What that translates to is that they feel that African-Americans have failed them! Our black president isn’t extreme enough for their agenda. Maybe he’s just not white enough for them. Think about it, it makes perfect sense! They don’t like him because they must be racist. I mean, they have to be racist, right?

Now there is this whole “tax cut” thing, which isn’t a tax cut by the way – it is just liberal logic and an attempt to dupe the public into championing in a tax hike. Anyway, this deal has put the Democrats in an uproar over Obama’s decision to work with Republicans. At last count, there were 31 House Democrats that were going against Obama. That really just means that there are 31 House racists that were going against Obama! They don’t agree with him because he is black! These fucking racist ass Democrats are out of control and spreading racial hated and division so openly on the House floor. What’s this going to lead to? A segregated Congress? Blacks sitting in the back of the House and the Senate?

Now with progressive whitey breathing down Obama’s neck, it is quite clear that the Democrats are just as racist as the Republicans, if not more so. If the “R” in Republican stands for “racist”, then the “D” in Democrat stands for “damn racist”. Maybe some Democrats might start attending some of those hate marches called Tea Parties. I can’t wait to see Pelosi on a stage with Palin waving swastika flags together. Maybe in the Democrats hatred for blacks this country will find some unity. Maybe we can be non-partisan after all. Maybe Obama did unite the nation, as he set out to do. Except, it wasn’t through his message, it was through the fact that he’s black and we’re all racists. I mean, he probably only got into the Oval Office because we all succumbed to our massive white guilt. I mean, we couldn’t have looked past the fact that he is black. The Democrats did a good job of hiding their bigotry but in the end, it has shined through!

We’re all racists now. Well, except for African-Americans, Latinos, Asians and every other group my racist fingers didn’t type out. If you are white however, just accept the fact that you were born a racist. There is nothing you can do about it. The Democrats pointed that out and on this rare occasion, I have to agree with them.

Unbelievable video has surfaced from Virginia’s 5th district, where a supporter of Rep. Tom Perriello (D) went on a rampage against supporters of Republican Robert Hurt.

In the video, the man can be seen ripping up signs and verbally assaulting a group of people assembled not far from Perriello’s headquarters. He especially hones in on a black female Hurt supporter, who he calls a “sellout” and a “f****** black b****“ and asks how she can associate with ”racist-a** white people.“ He then goes on to call the group and the woman the ”N” word.

The profanity and rage are remarkable. And according to the video’s narrator, police nearby did not intervene.
