Ventura: Navy SEAL ‘Punch’ Hoax May be Retribution for Supporting Ron PaulComments Off

Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura tells the Alex Jones Show that the hoax story about Navy SEAL Chris Kyle punching him in a bar, an incident which never happened, may be part of an establishment backlash against Ventura for supporting presidential candidate Ron Paul.

The controversy began last week when US Navy SEAL Chris Kyle appeared on numerous television shows, primarily to brag about how many Iraqis he had killed as a sniper and to promote his new book.

Kyle claims that he met Ventura in a bar in Coronado in 2006 while Ventura was in town to speak to a new class of SEAL graduates at nearby Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. Also present were family members holding a wake for Michael Mansoor, one of the first SEALs killed in Iraq. Kyle claims Ventura began loudly objecting to the war in Iraq before calling the troops “murderers” and saying “we deserved to lose a few guys”.

Kyle then claims he punched Ventura, knocked him to the floor, and quickly fled the scene.

Ventura explained that if the story happened as Kyle described it then, “he’s confessing to the crime of assault.”

“I want to to clear his name because he’s confessing to assaulting me, and it didn’t happen,” Ventura told the Alex Jones Show, adding “I can unequivocally tell you I’ve never been punched in Coronado, California.”

Ventura explained that the owner of the bar in question, McP’s Irish Pub & Grill, was a close friend of his and that anyone was free to call him up and confirm that the alleged incident never took place.

“If a former Governor within the SEAL community had been knocked down and hit and assaulted, it would have traveled through the SEAL community like wildfire,” said Ventura, pointing out how “absurd” it was for the incident only to come to light almost six years later.

Ventura also emphasized how, “you’re never at McP’s alone, you’re there with your team mates, your classmates….there’ll be at least five or six guys with you, I would sure like to hear of a witness that saw this event because it never happened.”

“He never hit me, I don’t even know who he is,” said Ventura, adding that if the incident had occurred the way Kyle described, there would be a police report, which there isn’t.

Ventura said that he had only ever been treated with honor and dignity at every SEAl community event he had attended, adding, “I don’t know why this young gentleman wants to plead that he committed a crime against me, but I can unequivocally plead for his innocence because the event never happened.”

Ventura stressed that although he has never supported the war in Iraq, he has “all the sympathy in the world for the soldiers having been one,” labeling it a “direct insult” by Kyle to question his patriotism and claim that he would verbally attack family members of a slain soldier at a wake.

US Begins Huge Military Maneuvers Aimed at IranComments Off

*Taken from Prison Planet. Written by Paul Joseph Watson.

The United States will this week commence huge military maneuvers aimed at Iran, with a massive air fleet patrolling middle eastern skies ready to land at any time, in response to Iran’s involvement in an alleged assassination plot that experts have labeled dubious, amidst fears that US and Israeli targets could be hit by attacks.

As we reported last week, during US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s October 3 Tel Aviv visit, Israeli hawks attempted to persuade Panetta to give the green light for a military strike on Iran. Within ten days, details of an alleged assassination plot against a Saudi ambassador emerged and the foiled attack was blamed on Iran. Innumerable experts immediately voiced their doubts about the authenticity of the plot, with 21-year CIA veteran Robert Baer labeling the story “a truly awful Hollywood script”.

The US military will respond this week with a series of significant military maneuvers designed to threaten Iran, including, “an American air fleet in Middle East skies ready to land at any moment for any contingency,” reports DebkaFile.

Random House Doubles Down, Defends Anti-Palin Literary Hoax; McGinniss Spins Emails of OmissionComments Off

*Taken from Big Government.

Dave Weigel of Slate reports that Crown/Random House, publisher of The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, has released the following statement on allegations that Joe McGinniss’s book is a literary hoax:

Joe McGinniss’s book The Rogue is based on the author’s extensive on-the-ground reporting in Alaska, as well as in-depth interviews he conducted with approximately 200 people who have known Governor Palin at different stages of her life and career. After a thorough and careful examination of the book, including probing discussions with the author about his sources, we are confident that the reporting it contains is solid, reliable, and well-substantiated.

Yet McGinniss revealed in an e-mail in January 2011 that Random House lawyers had informed him–after all of that “extensive-on-the-ground reporting in Alaska, as well as in-depth interviews”–that his manuscript contained nothing beyond “tawdry gossip,” and that his most “salacious stories” lacked “factual evidence.”

Vaccine Lobby Launches Gardasil Safety HoaxComments Off

*Taken from Prison Planet. Written by Paul Joseph Watson & Alex Jones.

In the aftermath of Rep. Michele Bachmann’s comments about the Gardasil shot causing mental retardation, vaccine lobbyists and the pharmaceutical-friendly establishment media have launched a new hoax claiming the vaccine is completely safe, despite the CDC’s own figures confirming over 18,000 cases of adverse reactions.

The HPV vaccine has become a presidential campaign talking point, after Ron Paul slammed rival Rick Perry when he pointed out that the Texas Governor’s former chief of staff was a lobbyist for Merck at the same time Perry mandated all girls in Texas receive the shot with an executive order.

However, the controversy only intensified when Rep. Michele Bachmann told the Today Show that a mother had approached her after last week’s Republican debate and told her that her daughter became mentally retarded after receiving the HPV vaccine.

Douchebag of the Week: Ed SchultzComments Off

My Two Cents: Why is Ed Schultz the King of the D-Bags this week? Well, because of the video below (which I originally posted here). He’s a scumbag hack that blatantly lies and still has a fucking job in journalism. Ed Schultz just may be the absolute worst mainstream political TV personality in the world. Bt since Rick Perry is the subject of the video, I do have to give a big middle finger to that douchebag as well. He’s a scumbag, read thisEnd Two Cents.

The Integrity of MSNBC and Ed Schultz(1)

My Two Cents: It’s no secret that I don’t like Rick Perry but this bullshit by Ed Schultz and MSNBC is fucking ridiculous! This hack needs to have his career castrated. This guy has crossed the line too many times and his integrity was already non-existent. Now he just proves that he’s less than shit and unable to give us even a shred of journalistic integrity. You have a responsibility to report truthfully and accurately to the people and not create your own news. I guess those at the bottom of the proverbial barrel are desperate for attention these days. End Two Cents.

Several weeks ago I was treated first hand to the dishonesty and complete lack of integrity on the part of liberal talk show host Ed Schultz and MSNBC.   Schultz took a tape of remarks I made on the air regarding self defense, edited my comments, and then played those edited comments on his MSNBC and his radio show to make it sound like I was advocating cold-blooded murder.

Well now Schultz has done it again; though this time the target of his dishonesty was far more important than I.  This time the target was Rick Perry.

Here’s what Mr. Integrity did this time.

Rick Perry is speaking to a campaign rally in Des Moines, Iowa.  He’s talking about our soaring national debt.  Here’s Perry’s quote:

“That big black cloud that hangs over America, that debt that is so monstrous.”

Breaking: Fox News ignores and pulls post debate poll that Ron Paul WINS(32)

*Taken from Wake Up 1776.

The Fox News commentator tells everyone who just got done watching the Republican Presidential debate in Iowa to go on FoxNews.com and vote.  So then Hannity comes on and brings his hired propagandist Frank Luntz and then interviews several candidates except Ron Paul.  I don’t even remember Hannity showing a video clip of Ron Paul during the entire show.

The announcement of the poll results was supposed to be done during the hour long Hannity post-debate show.  The entire show was a propaganda piece saying nice things about everyone but Ron Paul.

Well, it turns out Ron Paul won the FoxNews.com poll handily.  He won it by several thousand votes.  Here is a screenshot and a breakdown of the poll results shortly after 12 am ET (after Hannity’s show concluded).

1st Place: Paul with 7,796 votes
2nd Place:  Gingrich with 4,751 votes
3rd Place:  Cain with 2,425 votes
4th Place:  Romney (the supposed front-runner) with 1,870 votes
5th Place:  Bachmann (the other so-called front-runner) with 1,818 votes
6th Place:  Santorum with 835 votes
7th Place:  Huntsman with 303 votes
Last Place:  Pawlenty with 250 votes

Here is a state breakdown of the poll.  Ron Paul takes almost every state in the union except Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, Georgia, and Mississippi.

Shortly after Hannity’s show, Fox News pulled the poll off their website:

It was somewhere in the yellow area before it was pulled down.

So what does this mean?  This means that Ron Paul got over 7,000 votes in less than an hour from all 50 states from an audience that is mostly conservative that watched Fox News.  It also shows that he almost doubled the 2nd place contender’s votes.  It also shows he won Iowa – the main purpose for the Iowa debate and an early primary state.  It shows that Fox News is scared and that Frank Luntz is a liar.  It shows that Ron Paul has a real good shot at winning this election.

Boehner’s HoaxComments Off

*Written by Jared Grifoni of the Libertarian Party of Collier County. Who also has his own blog at Self-Govern. Please check out and support Jared’s blog for his collection of other stellar articles.

As the House prepares to vote on the Boehner plan this evening many Republicans and so-called fiscal conservatives have finally started to line up in support of the TARP-supporting Speaker’s plan. As of last night, the Speaker was unable to secure enough votes for passage so today the Republican establishment has been working overtime in order to bring enough votes over to their side. The establishment Republicans have thrown a bone to the tea partiers in Congress by adding a Balanced Budget Amendment requirement to the second scheduled debt ceiling increase six months from now. Under the Boehner plan as currently written, the debt ceiling will be raised before the August 2nd deadline (a short-term increase) in an amount that would result in the U.S. reaching the new debt ceiling limit again in six months, thus requiring another increase. During the next 6 months, the Congress will need to pass a balanced budget amendment by a two-thirds majority and then send the amendment to the states for ratification. If the Congress does not send a balanced budget amendment to the states during these next six months between debt ceiling increases then we will all be back in this same situation again at that point.

Any member of Congress who votes in support of the Boehner plan is a coward, a hypocrite, a liar, or a fool and I’ll tell you why. This plan does nothing to solve our country’s fiscal catastrophe beyond kicking the can down the road another six months. The plan is obfuscatory in its design so as to purposely hide from the public that it results in increases in spending, in increases in the debt, and guarantees another increase later this year. Let me be clear: this plan has no answers. This isn’t to say that the Reid plan or the “secret” Obama plan are better, in fact, they are much worse as they specifically call for revenue enhancers, i.e. tax increases as well as a full increase in the debt ceiling without a balanced budget amendment but remember one thing: the reason this country is on the verge of an inflationary default or an actual default is due to our elected leaders continually selling us out with bipartisan solutions that hurt every body in the long run rather than partisan solutions that might actually address the issues head on.

For all the tea party talk about wanting to cut spending and force a balanced budget amendment through the Congress without any additional taxes it didn’t take long for them to fall in line with John Boehner and Mitch McConnell and John McCain. All it took was for the establishment to throw them a crumb of requiring a balanced budget amendment before a second debt ceiling increase. That may sound wonderful, our country avoids “default” and continues paying its bills while starting to reduce spending and before any more debt increases a BBA would have to be passed. At first glance, it sounds great but lets dig a little deeper because it is all phony. Under the Boehner plan, discretionary spending will increase very year from $1.043 trillion in 2012 to $1.234 trillion in 2021 (see attached chart). But what about the cuts that the Speaker promised? The cuts in his plan relate to the CBO baseline. The CBO baseline is for all intents and purposes a “guesstimate” of what future spending may be so the Speaker’s plan is basing cuts of an imaginary number without actually cutting anything in reality. It is a fraud that only slows the rise of federal spending without any actual guarantees of real, hard cuts.

The key to bringing in the Tea Party “hobbits“, as Big Government Republican John McCain referred to them as, or Tea Party “schizophrenics“, as Allen West calls them (with friends like these who needs enemies?), is enticing them to vote in favor by tying in the BBA requirement with Boehner’s fake spending cut plan that they allegedly would not support without it. What every member of the Tea Party in Congress or all the Tea Party organizations out there are forgetting to tell you is that the balanced budget amendment has ZERO percent chance of passing Congress within the next six months. Do you honestly believe that John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, and John McCain can string together the support of two-thirds of Congress in order to pass the balanced budget amendment along to the states? Republicans currently have 55% (240 total) of the House seats and 47% (47 total) of the seats in the Senate. The BBA passing would require the Republicans to bring 47 Democrats across the aisle in the House and 19 Democrats in the Senate. I submit to you now that the balanced budget amendment at this point in time with the current breakdown of Congress has absolutely no chance of passing and making it to the states for potential ratification. Ron Paul, as keen as ever, was able to identify this deception coming from a mile away, he stated,

Default is coming. The only argument that’s going on now is how to default, not send the checks out or just print the money. In all countries our size, they always print the money. They’re going to raise the debt limit, and then they’re going to print the money, and then they’ll default by inflation, and that’s much more dangerous than facing up to the facts of what’s happening today.”

So, what will the result be if the Boehner plan miraculously passes the House and Senate and is signed by the President? A guaranteed debt ceiling increase tied to a plan with fake spending cuts. And if the Boehner plan as written does not get through the Senate? Surely we can expect to see compromise legislation passed by the big government elements of the Republican and Democratic parties that eliminates the phony balanced budget amendment requirement and leaves the debt ceiling increases tied to nothing. The Tea Party is being bought off with a hoax.

New Documents Prove TSA “Mischaracterized” Safety Aspects of Full Body ScannersComments Off

*Taken from Prison Planet. Written by Steve Watson.

Newly released internal government documents, obtained via the Freedom Of Information Act, reveal that the TSA, and specifically the head of the Department of Homeland Security, “publicly mischaracterized” the findings of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, in stating that NIST had positively confirmed the safety of full body scanners in tests.

Internal emails between NIST and the DHS, obtained by the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), show how NIST was “a little concerned” by a USA Today article published November 15, 2010, in which Janet Napolitano, the head of DHS, claimed that NIST had “affirmed the safety” of the airport scanners.

In the private email response, NIST stated that the Institute had not, in fact, tested full body scanners at all for safety, and that the Institute does not even undertake product testing.

The email (below) states that the director of NIST was “not looking for corrections”, but wished to “offer clarification”, that the agency “doesn’t want any mischaracterization of their work continued.”

Oprah O.J. Simpson Confession Interview Report False, Reps SayComments Off

*Taken from the Huffington Post.

Oprah’s representatives moved quickly to quash rumors that the talk show queen is conducting an interview with O.J. Simpson in which he confesses to murder.

The rumor raced around the Internet after the Daily Mail picked up a National Enquirer report that Simpson will admit to killing his late wife Nicole in a jailhouse interview.

But representatives for Harpo, Oprah’s company, flatly told the Hollywood Reporter, “that’s not true.”

However, it’s no secret that Oprah has been pining to do exactly this kind of interview. During anappearance at a cable convention earlier this month, she said that her dream is to have Simpson confess to her.

“And I am going to make that happen people,” she said. “I don’t just want the interview. I want the interview on the condition that you are ready, Mr. Simpson.”
