Jest.com came to one of the sets I was shooting on and enlisted me, Allie Haze, Chastity Lynn, and Jerry to do a funny political commentary video. The result was our tirade against Rick Santorum and his porn hating ways.

Whole Foods will open its first location in Park Slope, Brooklyn next year, following an eight-year battle with community activists, preservationists, and some leaky subterranean oil tanks.

Opponents of the project are concerned the upscale grocer will destroy the bucolic landscape, chase away the thriving manufacturing industry, and forever conceal the historic backyard of one of Brooklyn’s most treasured landmarks. Seriously.

A few blocks away sits the legendary Park Slope Food Co-op, which routinely tackles issues of national—and international—importance, such as conflict in the Middle East, natural gas drilling, and our “post hyper-capitalist” future.

It looks like the only dictator on the red carpet at Sunday’s Oscars ceremony will be the Academy itself.

After rumors circulated that comedian Sacha Baron Cohen — of “Borat” and “Bruno” fame — planned to attend the awards show dressed as his latest outrageous character, Admiral General Alladeen from the upcoming “The Dictator,” the Academy pulled Cohen’s invitation from the show.

The comedian was expected to attend since a film he acts in, the Martin Scorsese-directed “Hugo,” was nominated for 11 awards, including best picture. Cohen is also a voting member of the Academy.

“Unless they’re assured that nothing entertaining is going to happen on the red carpet, the Academy is not admitting Sacha Baron Cohen to the show,” a representative from Paramount Pictures, the company that produced “Hugo,” told Deadline.

The stuffy suits were none too pleased that the serious occasion could be marred by Cohen’s appearance as his Sadaam Hussein-meets-Gadhafi character.

Cohen is known for his extremely crude — and often nude — characters, who parody current events.

It’s a shame, since the consistently bland, three-hour ceremony could have used a little comic relief.

Two British tourists were barred from entering America after joking on Twitter that they were going to ‘destroy America’ and ‘dig up Marilyn Monroe’.

Leigh Van Bryan, 26, was handcuffed and kept under armed guard in a cell with Mexican drug dealers for 12 hours after landing in Los Angeles with pal Emily Bunting.

The Department of Homeland Security flagged him as a potential threat when he posted an excited tweet to his pals about his forthcoming trip to Hollywood which read: ‘Free this week, for quick gossip/prep before I go and destroy America?’

After making their way through passport control at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) last Monday afternoon the pair were detained by armed guards.

Despite telling officials the term ‘destroy’ was British slang for ‘party’, they were held on suspicion of planning to ‘commit crimes’ and had their passports confiscated.
