6th Graders Made Porno at Mexican School(0) Authorities in Mexico’s Gulf coast state of Campeche said Wednesday they are investigating how a porn video was made by sixth-graders inside their school. State Education Department spokesman Omar Kantun said the video was apparently made in an empty classroom during recess in late April. “It is real, the case is real, the video exists,” Kantun said. “The Education Department is very concerned.” He said an investigation is being conducted by his department and the teachers union to determine whether any adults were involved. Kantun said the teacher who uses the classroom did not appear to have been present when the video was made. He said no disciplinary action has been taken against any students or teachers as of yet. He said the students involved are being given psychological counseling. The incident occurred in late April at a grade school in the town of Calkini, which is in a relatively conservative and heavily Indian area. Three boys are seen on the video engaging in oral and anal sex recorded on a cellphone by a fourth person, apparently another student. The mother of one of the boys saw the video on the Internet and notified authorities, Kantun said. He said the video had since been taken down. Authorities didn’t announce the students’ ages, but sixth-graders in Mexico are generally 12 or younger. Source: AP. |

Mitt Romney the Mexican?Comments Off Winner of the New Hampshire Republican primary, Mitt Romney has been pretty vocal against illegal immigration. But now that he is the Republican front runner he realizes that he needs the support of Latino voters to win the presidency. So he casually mentioned the other day that his father was born in Mexico. He also made an appeal to Latino voters. “Take a group like Latino-Americans. If I can convince more Latino-Americans to vote Republican, I’ll be doing pretty well pretty broadly,” Romney said at a campaign stop in New Hampshire’s Nashua Chamber of Commerce, according to Univision. It hasn’t been a secret that he has family roots in Mexico but it’s not something he has touted. It turns out Romney’s Mormon great grandfather, Miles Park Romney, fled from Utah to Mexico to avoid anti-polygamy laws. His grandfather had four wives in Utah and took a fifth in Mexico. Romney’s grandfather and his father, George Romney, were born in Mexico. Under Mexican laws, Romney could become a Mexican citizen, even though he is not ethnically Mexican. This is so ironic. As the author of this Chicanísima blog, I am of 100 percent Mexican ethnicity. But my grandparents, not my parents, were born in Mexico. So I cannot apply for Mexican citizenship. But Mitt Romney could. Of course, he wouldn’t do that since he wants to become president of the United States. The bigger issue here is Romney’s hypocrisy. Mexico took in his family when they faced persecution for what he called their religious beliefs. Mexico welcomed his family and he still has relatives there, according to aNBC story. But Romney is against the DREAM Act and would punish immigrant children brought to the United States through no fault of their own. These youth also came here with their parents seeking shelter and a better life. But Romney would deport them. Romney can’t play both sides of this issue. It is not so black and white. Many Latinos who are U.S. citizens have relatives or friends who are undocumented. They won’t vote for a candidate who would punish undocumented youth. And we know the Latino vote is important is many key states. In the last presidential election 31 percent of Latinos voted Republican, according to the Pew Hispanic Center. I don’t think Romney would get those same numbers. Romney’s connection to Mexico will not help him win a single Latino voter. Lo siento “Mitteo.” Source: Chicago Now. |

Mexican Grand Warlock Predicts Obama Loss in 2012Comments Off Mexico’s Grand Warlock predicted US President Barack Obama would fail to win re-election and two more Latin American leaders would be diagnosed with cancer, in a traditional New Year’s forecast Tuesday. The Grand Warlock, or “Brujo Mayor” in Spanish, leads a Mexican tradition of “brujeria” or sorcery centered in the southeastern city of Catemaco. The Grand Warlock, also known as Antonio Vazquez, said that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who claims to have beaten an unspecified cancer, would have a “terrible relapse.” Argentina’s President Cristina Kirchner, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, former Brazilian leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Paraguay’s Fernando Lugo have been diagnosed with cancer in recent years. Chavez suggested last month that the spate of cancer among leftist leaders could be a US plot. Vazquez, who sports a long grey beard, put the cancer cases down to “witchcraft” against Latin American leaders, during a Mexico City news conference giving his 25th annual predictions. Mexico’s Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), which ruled for more than 70 years to 2000, would return to power with its candidate Enrique Pena Nieto winning the presidency in July, according to Vazquez, who bases his predictions on tarot card readings and observations of the stars. Vazquez, who claims to have a 75-80 percent accuracy rate, last year said the euro would weaken and recession would return to developed economies but he also predicted, incorrectly, that a Latin American leader would be assassinated. Pieczenik: Obama and Israel to attack Iran under cover of bogus terror threatComments Off *Taken from Prison Planet. Written by Kurt Nimmo. Appearing on the Alex Jones Show today, former State Department official Steve Pieczenik said Israel and the United States will use the cartoonish terror plot invented by the DEA and the FBI now dominating headlines as a false flag pretext to wage war on Iran. Pieczenik said Iran does not need to wage war within the United States and is more focused on confronting Israel through its Hezbollah proxy in Lebanon. He said the government of Benjamin Netanyahu and the reactionary Likud party are turning up the heat on the long simmering Iranian pretext – based on its alleged and undemonstrated nuclear weapons program – in order to take attention off demands by the Palestinians and a growing contingent at the United Nations forstatehood. Israel, according to Pieczenik, also wants to distract its populace from a deteriorating domestic situation. Moreover, the remarkably incompetent Obama administration is using the fallacious plot to divert attention from its involvement in the criminal Fast and Furious gun-running operation and Obama’srapidly falling popularity rating as the election approaches. A growing number of Democrats are now talking about running a candidate other than Obama.

Inside Job?: NY Times admits ludicrous nature of “foiled” Iranian terror plotComments Off *Taken from NY Times. The Obama administration on Wednesday sought to reconcile what it said was solid evidence of an Iranian plot to murder Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the United States with a wave of puzzlement and skepticism from some foreign leaders and outside experts. Senior American officials themselves were struggling to explain why the Quds Force, an elite international operations unit within Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, would orchestrate such a risky attack in so amateurish a manner. The White House spokesman, Jay Carney, would not go further than to say the plot “clearly involved senior levels of the Quds Force.” But other American officials, armed with evidence such as bank transfers and intercepted telephone calls and with knowledge of how the covert unit operated in the past, said they believed that Iran’s senior leaders were likely complicit in the plot. On RT Pepe Escobar discusses who’s to gain from the situation.

Death Toll Rises to 53 in Attack on Mexico CasinoComments Off *Taken from MyWay. The death toll climbed as workers continued to pull bodies out of a burned casino in northern Mexico, where gunmen spread gasoline and ignited a fire that trapped and killed at least 53 gamblers and employees. Family members gathered at the caution tape outside the Casino Royale after the Thursday afternoon fire in the northern industrial city of Monterrey, some crying and others yelling at police for providing no information. Later they were allowed to view bodies in the morgue to help identify the victims. Francisco Tamayo, 28, of Monterrey, said he and family members looked at some 40 bodies in search of his mother, Sonia de la Pena, 47, who loved to gamble at the casino and was there on average four days a week. They had yet to find her. |

Obama Signs Deal to Allow Mexican Truckers Onto U.S. HighwaysComments Off *Taken from the Economic Populist. In yet another blow to U.S. workers, the Obama administration has signed a deal for Mexican truckers to operate inside the United States. The news headlines all sing hallelujah over some soon to be disappearing punitive tariffs Mexico put on 99 U.S. products simply because we wouldn’t let Mexican truckers, instead of American ones, on U.S. highways. There is no mention in the major press of the cost to American workers, the increased illegal drugs entering the country, the illegal immigrants being smuggled into the U.S., and the wages and jobs lost. Nor is there anything mentioned about border security in the press, or even challenging Mexico for being in violation of NAFTA by their attempts to subvert U.S. labor law in the first place. The teamsters have been fighting this tooth and nail and just came out swinging. Mexican truckers have lax safety standards and much lower wages, yet will be allowed to work in the United States, by driving on American roads, displacing U.S. truckers.

Obama Tries to Stop Execution in Texas of Mexican Killer-RapistComments Off *Taken from the Guardian. President Barack Obama is attempting to block the execution in Texas on Thursday of a Mexican man because it would breach an international convention and do “irreparable harm” to US interests. The White House has asked the US supreme court to put the execution of Humberto Leal Garcia on hold while Congress passes a law that would prevent the convicted rapist and murderer from being put to death along with dozens of other foreign nationals who were denied proper access to diplomatic representation before trials for capital crimes. The administration moved after the governor of Texas, Rick Perry, brushed aside appeals from diplomats, top judges, senior military officers, the United Nations and former president George W Bush to stay Leal’s execution because it could jeopardise American citizens arrested abroad as well as US diplomatic interests. Leal, 38, was convicted in 1994 of the rape and murder of a 16-year-old girl in San Antonio. Few question that he was responsible for the killing but the Texas authorities failed to tell Leal, who was born in Mexico and has lived in the US since the age of two, that under the Vienna convention he was entitled to contact the Mexican consulate when he was arrested. |

Mexican Drug Cartels Building ‘Mad Max’ Inspired Tanks?Comments Off
*Taken from McClatchy. Mexico’s rival crime gangs are in an arms race, and the latest sign of that are the homemade “Mad Max” type heavily armored vehicles they deploy to withstand fierce clashes with each other. The army found two more “narco tanks” over the weekend in Ciudad Camargo in Tamaulipas state along the border with Texas. In earlier discoveries in April and May, armored vehicles found by authorities contained swiveling turrets, snipers’ peepholes and gadgets to dump oil and scatter tire-puncturing nails on roadways. The latest discovery showed that the gangs are upping their game. The two armored vehicles were cloaked in inch-thick steel plating. Built on a three-axle truck bed with a heavily armored cabin, the latest “narco tanks” are far larger than previous versions. |
