Speculation that the location of the Bilderberg Group’s annual meeting would be chosen to coincide with this year’s U.S. presidential election appears to have been accurate with the likelihood that Bilderberg will hold their confab in Chantilly, Virginia from May 31st to June 3rd.

Breitbart died hours before planned release of damning Obama footage.

In a stunning coincidence, It appears Andrew Breitbart suffered his untimely death just hours before he was set to release damning video footage that could have sunk Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.

Around three weeks ago on February 9 during the ‘Blog Bash’ event in Washington DC, Breitbart made a prophetic comment that takes on a somewhat chilling nature given the fact that he died in the early hours of March 1st.

Speaking to Lawrence Sinclair of Sinclair News, Breitbart stated, “Wait til they see what happens March 1st.”

It’s almost certain that Breitbart was referring to his plan to release damning footage of President Obama that he had been promising to reveal throughout the month of February.

As we reported yesterday, Breitbart spoke of his intention to release the tape during his CPAC speech last month. The footage shows Obama in his college days appearing alongside former Weather Underground terrorists Bill and Bernardine Dohrn. Observers had speculated that the footage could have derailed Obama’s hopes for a second term.

“I’ve got video from his college days that show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008 – the videos are going to come out,” said Breitbart, adding that Obama would be vetted.

You don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to appreciate the downright weirdness of Breitbart predicting a major event to occur on March 1st, only for him to end up dying on that very date. Breitbart was officially pronounced dead at 12:19am.

Media trailblazer Andrew Breitbart, who single-handedly declared war on the establishment left and won numerous political battles, unexpectedly died this early morning in his Los Angeles home aged 43.

Breitbart’s untimely death has shocked the media world and left some to question whether or not damning footage of Obama in his youth, which Breitbart announced he had obtained only last month, will still be released.

According to some observers, the footage threatened to sink Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.

“I’ve got video from his college days that show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008 – the videos are going to come out,” Breitbart told a crowd during a CPAC speech in February, adding that the video shows Obama meeting “a bunch of silver pony tails” like Bill and Bernardine Dohrn (Weather Underground members), who radicalized him.

Breitbart was probably best known for his role in exposing ACORN, a community-based organization with links to the Democratic Party, with the release of undercover videos showing ACORN workers advising people how to hide evidence of prostitution and commit tax evasion.

In recent years, Breitbart became known as a fearless conservative activist, confronting leftist media elites and publicly taking Obama supporters to task.

When placing Breitbart’s tragic early death in the context of the media landscape, it becomes clear that today’s news, allied with James Murdoch’s exit from the UK in the aftermath of the phone hacking scandal, will leave major gaps in the ongoing media tug of war between Rupert Murdoch and George Soros.

Writing that Breitbart was a “happy warrior” whose fight will live on, Big Hollywood carried text Breitbart recently wrote a new conclusion to his book,Righteous Indignation.

Coverage from the Veterans For Ron paul march on the White House yesterday.

In conjunction with a strong second place finish in the Minnesota caucuses, GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul is now polling in second place nationally, within eight points of front runner Mitt Romney.

Paul tallied a solid 21 percent in the newReuters/Ipsos Poll released this week, beating rival competitors Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, who scored 19 percent and 18 percent respectively.

Romney still leads the pack with 29 percent, however, the poll finds that his popularity declined since early January, while, Paul’s support increased by five percent.

Romney “still hasn’t really convinced all the Republicans across the country that he’s the guy to get behind,” said Ipsos research director Chris Jackson in a statement.

“This poll further illustrates that Ron Paul is emerging as the real conservative alternative to Mitt Romney, and that he can also obtain the needed support from Independents and disenfranchised Democrats to defeat President Obama in November,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

With most of the votes counted in Minnesota, Rick Santorum won the caucuses with 45% of the vote followed by Paul with 27%, Mitt Romney, 17% and Newt Gingrich, 11%.

The result saw Paul garner 10 points more than Romney and a higher percentage than his previous best of 22.9 percent from New Hampshire’s primary one month ago.

Despite not yet outright winning any of the primaries or caucuses, Paul is picking up a significant amount of delegates, a point he highlighted in his speech last night following the announcement of the Minnesota vote.

“We had a very, very strong second place — and it’s going to continue,” Paul told more than 200 supporters. “We do have to remember: the straw vote is one thing, but then there’s a whole other thing — delegates — and that is where we excel.”

“So when the dust settles, I think there’s a very good chance that we’re going to have the maximum number of delegates coming out of Minnesota.” Paul said, noting that because of the loyalty and savviness of his supporters, he could still end up with more delegates out of Minnesota than Santorum.

In some states, the Congressman has seen his support triple or even quadruple on votes he received during his campaign four years ago. Paul told CNN that he is optimistic that he is going to keep picking up delegates and that the next major battle ground is in Maine, where results are to be announced on Saturday.

Exercises “designed to ensure the military’s ability to operate in urban environments”

Joint military training exercises involving helicopters are being conducted in downtown LA all this week through Thursday with the police providing support, according to a statement issued by the LAPD.

As reported by CBS News, the LAPD statement says that the exercises, closed to the public, are “designed to ensure the military’s ability to operate in urban environments, prepare forces for upcoming overseas deployments, and meet mandatory training certification requirements.”

Training sites “have been carefully selected to ensure the event does not negatively impact the citizens of Los Angeles and their daily routine,” a department spokesperson said.

Police also noted that the training, which has been coordinated with local authorities, involves helicopters.

At time of writing we have not received any reports of military activity in downtown LA or the Greater Los Angeles area.

The exercise is yet another in a spate of recent military drills to hit heavily populated areas throughout the country.

Back in April last year, residents of Brickell, Miami witnessed at least three large Black Hawk-like helicopters conducting military exercises over their heads. Some initially believed it was a movie shoot.

“Maybe it’s just the prepper in me, but when I heard the U.S. Military will be conducting a massive training exercise in the streets of Los Angeles I must say it made me feel a little uneasy. And how could it not?”

“With the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act, which gives the President the power to arrest and detain American Citizens, it makes one wonder why the military is conducting drills in Urban America. While it could be, as LAPD insists, just a training exercise the timing sure does make you wonder what’s going on.”
